A thorough overview of countries and NGOs involved in volunteer tourism - but not very helpful overall in terms of providing details regarding the types of volunteer tasks done. No "testimonials" from participants in programs, which lend color and realistic detail for the reader who might be searching for a particular kind of volunteer work. And the offerings provided very little information about age limits (at the low or high end), amount of hours spent in doing the work daily, etc. Unlike Sierra Club, most of the NGOs described involved quite a bit of expense on the part of the volunteer.
