I love this book for intermediate students who have finished Piano Adventures 3B. The pieces are exciting, challenging, and beautiful! I’ve never had a student who didn’t love the piece, Chanson. I like that there is a wide range of genres in the book. Contemporary, jazz, blues, classical, this book has it all in a well-paced book. This book is best used with the supplementary books Performance, Theory, and Technic.
This is the Piano series that is recommend by my daughters music teacher. We have used this series for years now. I am very satisfied with the book along with the help of her instructor. I am not sure it would work for some one who has never played and does not have any help from a teacher. This works well in her private piano lessons. I would highly recommend this series for piano students and teachers.
