Interesting from a history perspective but not as useful for actual sightseeing and navigation - book is bulky and cumbersome for packing and toting around. Will go back to Frommers books next time I need a USEFUL sightseeing book.
Easy to read and understand. Lots of good information. Very helpful when we make our trip this summer.
Very informative on the history, culture and architectural sights worth seeing in Charleston. Also, some helpful tips for tourists on public transport and parking. I would have wanted to see more on sports related activities and things of interest for teenagers including the local colleges and universities and the waterfront park.
An excellent Guide to Charleston, SC and its environs. I give this to all my Clients who come from out of town...
